Here are some songs that you might hear at DC Serve. Just look at the bottom of any page on this site and you can hear songs you’ll be singing. The songs will be performed by Dear Mercy, and their core message is Humility Honors Jesus.

There are no rookies on the  leadership team of DC Serve 2011. Combined they have worked on Serve missions for over 60 years. Okay, not exactly but we’ll post the real number soon. Check out their bios for more information about the work they do throughout the year.

2011 Serve Theme Announced

The theme for DC Serve this year is SHALOM: Peace No Matter What.  Here are the details:

Verse: “That’s my parting gift to you. Peace.” John 14:26-28 (The Message)

25-27 “I’m telling you these things while I’m still living with you. The Friend, the Holy Spirit whom the Father will send at my request, will make everything plain to you. He will remind you of all the things I have told you. I’m leaving you well and whole. That’s my parting gift to you. Peace. I don’t leave you the way you’re used to being left—feeling abandoned, bereft. So don’t be upset. Don’t be distraught.”
